MEET ANDY MOLONEY
Mental Health Exercise Physiologist
With over 12 years of experience as an Exercise Physiologist, I’ve had the privilege of helping people reconnect with their health. But in 2020, I took my work even deeper—I began my Master of Mental Health at Southern Cross University after realizing that true healing isn’t just about movement. It’s about how our mental and emotional health shape our physical well-being.
What I found was astounding.
Your perception of health isn’t just about exercise or nutrition—it’s influenced by your life experiences, emotions, stress, and the stories you’ve been told about yourself. But there’s good news: there’s a new way to bridge the gap between emotional and physical health.
Using insights from Emotion Science (Affect Neuroscience), I help people integrate movement with emotional regulation to create lasting, meaningful change.

THE REGUL8 TOOLKIT
The ‘Regul8 Toolkit’ is a contemporary framework to build meaningful Safety & Protection strategies for the Whole-Person. It requires a collaborative approach to design adaptive strategies to suit the variability of your experience in physical and emotional symptoms.
What do I mean by the Whole-Person?
You are not just your diagnosis, scans and blood work. You are not just the narrative of clinical terminology that you have been labelled with.
You have lived a story of adversity, hardship, growth and resilience. This story has incredible strength, but over time, your physical and emotional systems have become dysregulated, resulting in a few too many symptoms across multiple areas of your health. This can really impact the relationship with your sense of self.
Building your Regul8 Toolkit is about sitting down and honestly bringing all the parts of your SELF together to determine what will be helpful in your movement and regulation journey.
