Our mission at Gold Coast Health & Performance is to ensure you receive the best overall care for your physical and mental health. Our practitioners will take their time with you to ensure you are heard and understood.
As Accredited Exercise Physiologists, our role is to clinically prescribe exercise for the management of chronic disease, injury and mental health. At GCHP we have a strong passion for ensuring every member in our community has access to this type of service and education whether in the gym, at home or simply as a guiding tool towards better health.
GOLD COAST EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
Think personal training…but with an in depth knowledge of your condition, injury or pain. Our structured programs are developed by Accredited Exercise Physiologists with a clear understanding of your current limitations and will work towards your GOALS!
During these sessions our Exercise Physiologists will be helping guide you through your individual health goals. These classes are directed more towards our Senior members of the community looking to achieve their health goals in a friendly environment.
We provide clinically necessary rehabilitative treatment for Medicare referrals and DVA entitled clients (Gold card and White card) on referral from a GP. To access these services, you must be referred by your treating GP or specialist.
Working in conjunction with the NDIS and the participant’s planner, our services assist individuals with a variety of disabilities to improve their function, activities of daily living (ADLs) and quality of life through exercise. Click here for more info
HOW IT WORKS
In an initial consultation with one of our Exercise Physiologists we will aim to understand your story. Who you are and how you got to sit down in front of us is vital in our treatment plan. The better we understand your past, the better we can help you to your healthier future.
If you are coming to us to for a progressive rehabilitation program after injury or with pain we will also complete a full movement assessment to determine limitations in movement.
